Rapid and lasting personal change.
A big step beyond affirmations--here at Inner Garden we will guide you in this proven system of meridian tapping and intuitive scripting that has been changing people's lives in the wink of an eye all over the globe.
I like to use "tapping" for mood shift assistance or for minor crisises where I need to make change in the instant. My most recent experience personally came in the dentist's chair. An abundance of crown model material had been poured in my mouth, and it was starting to block my breathing passage. I began to feel claustrophic! But I did not want to make a scene. So I simply tapped on my cheekbone at the side of my left eye. Suddenly the panic was defused. I was fine again. And no one ever knew the drama that had taken place.
Early on, Gary Craig, one of the authors of The Promise of Energy Psychology, first used his techniques (known as Emotional Freedom Therapy) with a veteran who had been in therapy for 17 years, his life still devastated by traumas of war. In his book, Gary describes the healing that allowed this soldier to take his life back after only one hour of practice. The veteran learned the therapeutic techniques, and within a few days, every one of his fears had been neutralized.
These practices integrate the wisdom of Yoga, Accupuncture, and Qi Gong disciplines and 5000 years of healing practices. As clinical psychologist David Feinstein writes that Emotional Freedom Therapy "works on the principle that the well being of the body, mind, and spirit is "anchored in the body and energy system." The body is fundamentally electrical. Each cell of the body has a measurable voltage. With high voltage, we have high energy. With low voltage, we feel low or are ill. Through Applied Kinesiology to pinpoint emotional disturbances, and by using “tapping” techniques, energy pathways can be quickly restored, the old patterns being intelligently shifted, and physical, emotional and mental disturbances can be diminished or alleviated. This therapy has been used to alleviate addictions, traumatic stress, phobias, and emotional issues of all kinds. Blocks to creativity can also be “tapped” away using energetic meridians.
The universal result of this work is
energy integration and emotional intelligence.
David Feinstein and Donna Eden, Gary Craig's co-authors, explain why our thoughts and feelings affect our energy levels, and vice versa. “Emotions and thoughts initiate a series of cascading chemical and cellular events—including the formation of new neurons—that are then the basis of other emotion and thoughts.” Just think of something that makes you nervous and your stomach ties up, or you might break out in a cold sweat! On the other hand, remember a wonderful moment and you find your body relaxing and have a sense of more oxygen coursing through your veins. We are an integrated system, body, mind, and soul.
Eric Robbins, MD, a practitioner and authority in Energy Medicine work writes, "Some day the medical profession will wake up and realize that unresolved emotional issues are the main cause of 85% of all illnesses." We can be well with the application of some simple healing principles..
We can take control of our lives and
be happy and healthy.
Our set of personal beliefs (or our personal mythology) is the story that we each find ourselves living out. It serves as a guidance system for our hopes and dreams, and our biology. In the Biology of Belief, Dr. Bruce Lipton writes, “The belief that we are frail bio-chemical machines controlled by genes is giving way to an understanding that we are powerful creators of our lives and the world in which we live.”
